03 Jun Dimasa Grupo is key in the largest WWTP of Latin America
We are pleased to inform you one of our latest completed projects successfully
Dimasa Grupo has played a leading role in the work of the WWTP of Atotonilco (Mexico DF), the treatment plant wastewater largest in Latin America. In addition, it is the largest treatment plant in the world with an average capacity of 35 m3/s, and can reach up to 50 m3/s. Thus, the plant will process 3.6 tons of waste daily, 60 % of what generates the metropolitan area of Mexico City. The treated water is reused for irrigation, and the waste (sludge) for the biofuels production.
Since the beginning of the work, in 2011, until today, Dimasa Grupo has been present in this important project. The contribution of Dimasa Grupo has been essential for carrying out the plant: 1,220 m. sectors covered in grit chambers feed channel, 140 units of different sizes of GRP covers, more than 2,000 m. pipeline (from 03″ to 30″) for deodorization, 36 GRP tanks for storage, assembly, alignment, installation…
