In 1986 Plásticos y Poliéster Dimasa was founded with the aim of manufacturing polyester components for the industrial sector.
30 years later Dimasa Grupo has become one of the leading companies in the glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) equipment and tank sector.
We carry out all the projects under the concept “turnkey“: feasibility study, engineering and design, manufacturing, delivery, commissioning and after-sales maintenance
Our production plant, with an extension of 5,000 m2 and a team of 40 operators, is equipped with high technology for the production of our equipment, complying with the highest quality requirements and current regulations, such as the ISO System Certificates Quality Management (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). We also have our own fleet of vehicles, which allows us to be more agile and competitive in our logistics department.
In addition, the business group is also formed by DimWater Engineering (in charge of the Water, Biogas and Waste business lines) and Dimamex (a subsidiary in Mexico to nourish the Latin American market).
The constancy of the preservation of the environment of the founders and new additions for more than two decades, facilitated the creation of our subsidiary company, DimWater Engineering, to cover the treatment market for Water, Biogas and Waste, process optimization and Energy recovery.
The commitment to seek the excellence and professionalism of our human team has allowed us to design a process of treatment of leachates and a cleaning of biogas of last generation that allow to reduce the costs of exploitation of the client.
After 25 years growing in its sector, becoming a leading company in the manufacture of glass fiber reinforced polyester (GRP) equipment and tanks, Dimasa Grupo decided to take the definitive step of internationalization, opening a production subsidiary in Mexico, Dimamex, with which we supply the entire American market.
Thus, Dimamex began its activity in 2011, with the help of a megaproject, the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Atotonilco (Mexico). In this work, awarded by the International Development Bank with the Infrastructure 360° Award, we made 36 tanks in GRP, 1,220 meters of coverings, more than 2,000 meters of pipes, and the entire facility for the treatment and cleaning of biogas.
